Mission Statement
We exist to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. People who present the Gospel of Jesus Christ in such a way that turns Non-Christians into converts, converts into disciples, and disciples into mature, fruitful, leaders, who will in turn go into the world and reach others for Christ.
Vision Statement
To be a place where the hurting find healing, hope, salvation, and deliverance. A church whose altars are constantly filled with repentant sinners responding to Christ's call to salvation. A church committed to training, equipping, disciplining, empowering, and producing mature and faithful followers of Christ, as well as a leadership generation to reap the end-time harvest that all its ministries are consumed with this goal. A church whose head is Jesus Christ, whose help is the Holy Ghost, and whose focus is the Great Commission of Matthew 28:19-20 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost; Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you..."

At Liberty Rock, we practice tithing for the support of Christ’s Body, the church, as God’s Word commands. We recognize that giving 10% of our gross income is the biblical standard of giving to the local church. A tithe of everything a person produces belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord.
And all the tithe (tenth) of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord's: it is holy unto the Lord.
Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?
Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. Everything over 10% is an “offering of gratitude” for the great things God does for us everyday. The offering is a privilege to give and is an addition to the tithe. We believe that the local church wherever you attend is the storehouse and you should give your tithe there. The offering may be given at your discretion to any worthwhile ministry, church, or organization. We also recognize that we must be good stewards of our time and talents – everything we have – as the Lord has blessed us with these things as well. Like any other form of obedience, tithing is a matter of the heart.

THE PRIESTHOOD OF EVERY BELIEVER
The Bible teaches that every Christian is called to “full-time” Christian service, regardless of his or her vocation. We practice the truth that every believer is a minister by encouraging every member to find a place of service and ministry. Every believer has direct access to God through Bible reading/study, prayer, and the leading of the Holy Spirit. Every Christian is to be a disciple, developing relational environments in which they share their faith with those around them by word and by action.
“You will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.” Exodus 19:6
“To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom of priests to serve his God and Father”
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. In its broadest sense salvation includes regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification. There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord.
Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Saviour, the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus.
The Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members of the church, through partaking of the bread and the fruit of the vine, memorialize the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His second coming.
“For I have received of the Lord that which I also delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks 1 Corinthians 11:23-26
We believe that no one should take communion unless they understand the concepts of sin and salvation, and have accepted Christ. For those not fitting this category, we do believe communion is a teaching opportunity to explain the concepts of sin and salvation, and our need for Jesus.
